About Us

Our Mission Statement:

To provide funding to qualified charitable organizations for programs assisting disadvantaged children, youth and families in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Florida Winefest & Auction, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

We are approaching our 29th Winefest event in April, 2019. Proceeds realized from our April event and other events held during the year, will bring our grand total awarded to over $8.5 million in grants to 85 different charities since 1991.

Caring for Children Charities is the sister-fundraising arm of Florida Winefest & Auction and presents events throughout the year in an effort to raise more funding for our benefiting charities assisting disadvantaged children. The Wild Truffle Wine Dinner and the Shamrock Shiver Charity Plunge are events presented by Caring for Children Charities.

Because of your generosity, Caring for Children Charities/Florida Winefest & Auction continues to provide grant monies to those children’s charities that need it the most and has awarded over $8.5 million in funding to those deserving children.
